Michelle Dallas, a qualified Chartered Professional Accountant, joined the BeesMont Group in 2012. She is responsible for the strategic management of firm accounting and finance functions, inclusive of all aspects of financial reporting, system configurations and invoicing support.
She earned a Bachelor of Commerce at Dalhousie University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountants, Canada in 1995, while working with Deloitte as an Audit Senior II. Michelle then worked with Centre Solutions (Bermuda) Limited supporting their SAP ERP system and their international accounting team, where her responsibilities included maintaining back office system configuration, end user documentation and system training, together with providing support for all of Centre Solutions (Bermuda) Limited’s international locations and 150 end users.
Subsequently, Michelle accepted a position with Scottish Re as Assistant Controller for the Bermuda holding company, responsible for the monthly financial reporting and quarterly consolidation reporting on a US GAAP basis, together with assisted with quarterly SEC reporting requirements. In 2004, Michelle held the position of VP Finance with BF&M Limited where she oversaw the audited consolidated group financial reporting under Canadian GAAP, managed the mortgage portfolio and acted as Company Secretary.
Having left full time employment to spend time with her children, Michelle was thrilled to join the dynamic BeesMont Law team in 2012 on a flexible part-time basis. Michelle is a member of CPA Bermuda and previously held the position of Chair for the Student Affairs Committee for several years.
