Julian Wheddon

Julian joined BeeMont Law Limited as a senior corporate attorney in August 2025, specialising in corporate restructuring, corporate governance, regulatory and compliance banking and finance. Julian has extensive experience in providing legal advice to Bermuda Monetary Authority regulated financial institutions, principally with respect to insurers, digital asset business applications and the anti-money laundering regime in Bermuda.

Julian completed his MSc in Business Administration and Law with Distinction at the University of Law in Bristol in 2017 and completed his pupilage with Argus Group Holdings Limited between March 2018 and March 2019. Julian was called to the Bermuda Bar in May 2019. Prior to joining BeesMont Law, Julian was a senior corporate attorney at Ocorian Law (Bermuda) Limited and prior to that a corporate attorney with Walkers (Bermuda) Limited.

Prior to joining the legal profession, Julian was an Army Officer for twelve years, first with the British Army and laterally as Training Officer of the Royal Bermuda Regiment. Julian is also a certified yoga instructor and holds a WSET Diploma in spirits and wines. Julian is currently working towards a certified anti-money laundering specialist designation and has volunteered as a board member of Westmeath Nursing Home since August 2025.
