Compliance

Michele works with the Executive Leadership of BeesMont Law as well as our administrative staff and attorneys to support compliance & regulatory controls, risk management initiatives and privacy matters through policy development and implementation.  She has experience in providing administrative and records management services as well as systems support and implementation and has gained experience in compliance and privacy through both educational and practical channels.

Michele has a BA in English from the University of Western Ontario and a Legal Transcription certification from the International Institute for Transcribers and Court Reporters. She enjoys being a lifelong learner with a focus on compliance initiatives.  In 2020, she obtained a Privacy Officer Certification from the TLC Group.  Since then, she has completed an International Compliance Association (ICA) course on Know Your Client (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (CDD) via the APACE Division of the Bermuda College, the Service Provider Training course offered by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS).
